Prague holds an eerie atmosphere all year round, thanks to their brilliant Gothic and baroque architecture found on every corner, so it only makes sense for it to be one of the best destinations to visit for the Halloween period!

The Czech Republic don’t traditionally celebrate Halloween, but instead celebrate All Souls’ Day (Dušičky) which falls on the 2nd of November. Olšany, Vinohrady and Vyšehrad cemeteries come to life, adorned with flowers and twinkling candlelight, making for quite an atmospheric sight. Additionally, Prague is renowned for its nightlife and for the best beer in the world, so naturally they put on a good show for the weekend of Halloween!
