If youβre looking for a laidback break in Portugal, look no further. Youβll find Hotel Do Cerro in a quiet neighbourhood just outside of Albufeira. Those that want to explore the local area can wander into the centre of town or to the nearest beach in just 10 minutes. The hotelβs on a hilltop, which means it comes with some pretty fantastic views overlooking the sea and the Bay of Albufeira.
Back at the hotel, youβve got a couple of pools to choose from. Oneβs a rectangular number at the centre of the sun terrace β thereβs a smaller kidsβ pool beside it, too β and the otherβs indoors in the spa, where treatments are available. Activities wise, you can hit the gym for a workout or set up a game on the pool table.
Breakfast and dinner are offered as set menus with table service, but if you fancy something else, an Γ la carte menu of Italian and Portuguese options is available nightly. It also doles out lunch and light bites for you to enjoy poolside during the afternoon, while a cocktail bar screens live sports in the evenings.
