If you’re looking for a laidback break in Portugal, look no further. You’ll find Hotel Do Cerro in a quiet neighbourhood just outside of Albufeira. Those that want to explore the local area can wander into the centre of town or to the nearest beach in just 10 minutes. The hotel’s on a hilltop, which means it comes with some pretty fantastic views overlooking the sea and the Bay of Albufeira.
Back at the hotel, you’ve got a couple of pools to choose from. One’s a rectangular number at the centre of the sun terrace – there’s a smaller kids’ pool beside it, too – and the other’s indoors in the spa, where treatments are available. Activities wise, you can hit the gym for a workout or set up a game on the pool table. During the summer months you can expect regular evening entertainment, like live music and karaoke.
