This is a 10-night adventure that includes five days with a guide and a private car followed by five very relaxing days on the golden shores of the west coast. You’ll begin with three nights at the heart of the Cultural Triangle: the region packed with some of the island’s most iconic landmarks. Cinnamon Lodge Habarana will be your first hotel of your trip which is nearby the painted cave temples at Dambulla and the ruins of the once-great cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa.
It’s then onwards and upwards to Kandy, the gateway to the emerald Hill Country and a vibrant city packed with sights. Two nights at the Earl’s Regency are included, the perfect retreat after a day of visiting stunning gardens and seeing the sacred Temple of the Tooth (excursions and sightseeing tours are subject to extra costs and can be added at the time of booking). The following two nights will be spent at Jetwing St. Andrew’s, where you will be swept up in history but still have a wonderfully comfortable stay.
It’s then time to come down from the clouds and experiences some oceanfront rest and relaxation. We’ve picked the Cinnamon Bentota Beach for your time on the west coast, a five-star haven where gardens give way to pools and pools give way to the golden Bentota shoreline.
