If you’re after a hotel that’s geared up for rest and relaxation, but not too far from the heart of the action, the Real Bellavista Hotel and Spa has got you covered. Based in one of Albufeira’s quieter suburbs, it’s still just a 20-minute walk from the old town, as well as the beach and the bar-lined ‘strip’. A free shuttle bus is also on hand to whisk you off to these three spots, if you don’t fancy the walk.
Days here revolve around the water. There are two outdoor pools to pick from, as well as a shallow swimming spot for little ones. Each pool is framed by a team of sun loungers and parasols, and the poolside snack bar keeps drinks and light bites coming throughout the day. You’ll also find beanbags dotted across the hotel’s lawns, if you fancy relaxing away from the pool.
