Marhaba Club is a mega-sized Moorish-style resort on the silky sands of Sousse Beach. It’s nestled among palms and blooms and feels nicely tucked away, but you’re just a 10-minute drive from the lively resort centre when you want to get out and explore the shops, bars and timewarp medina. Port El Kantaoui, a pretty harbourfront town, is the same distance in the other direction.
You’ll find the hotel’s star turn – a lagoon-like swimming pool – just footsteps from the beach and surrounded by landscaped grounds. Kids have their own dedicated pool section with slides and sprinklers – perfect for cooling off in the warm temperatures. Chill out under one of the neighbouring parasols, or head into the gardens to practice your serve on the tennis courts. The big buffet eatery serves a huge variety of international dishes, and regular Tunisian specialities also feature. For snacks throughout the day, there are two bars offering light bites like sandwiches and pizza.
